Lenstec Inc. headquarters is located in St. Petersburg, Florida USA. Our US operations, global support and U.S. inventory are based here, and we have added significant investment in square footage for these operations at this location.
Manufacturing
Lenstec Manufacturing Building - Barbados
Lenstec opened its first manufacturing facility in Barbados in 1995. In 2009, after two years of planning and building, the new manufacturing space opened which is double the size of the previous facility and has the growth capacity to meet expected market demand for the next decade.
Following the move into the new facility and successful completion of environmental and production validations, the factory was certified by British Standards Institution, ensuring a seamless supply of Lenstec products to customers. Lenstec first received the CE Mark in 1997.
As a global manufacturer of intraocular lenses for cataract and refractive surgery, Lenstec’s Barbados-based manufacturing operation currently produces in excess of 300,000 IOLs and other ophthalmic devices per year. Lenstec currently employs over 120 people in Barbados.
In addition to our Barbados office, Lenstec has a sales office in the United Kingdom.
