We at Lenstec, are proud to announce that T. Hunter Newsom, MD has implanted the SBL-3 ClearViewTM Multifocal IOL in both his Sebring, FL and Tampa, FL locations. The ClearView IOL, a NEXT GENERATION presbyopia correcting IOL, is designed with no concentric rings. It provides patients with excellent distance, intermediate and near vision, and few visual disturbances. Dr. Newsom notes that he is proud to be the first surgeon in Florida to be able to offer the ClearView to his patients and was excited about these first patients’ early outcomes.
Dr. Newsom previously served as a Principal Investigator in Lenstec FDA clinical trials for the ClearView, and therefore has years of experience using the lens. “My FDA study patients still have excellent vision and are free from glasses. I see them every year and it makes me confident to recommend the ClearView to my patients today.”
